Creating a New Doctor
When you create a new doctor, you must search to make sure the doctor does not already have a folder.
To create a new doctor manually, do the following:
- On the toolbar, press the button. The Doctor Search window appears.
- In the upper part of the Doctor Search window, enter full or partial information for the doctor in any of the columns (Last Name, First, Phone, Address, Doctor ID, License #, or Prescriber Type).
- In the Doctor Search window, press Search. Any doctors matching your search criteria who already have folders are shown in the bottom part of the window. Check this list to make sure the doctor you want to create does not already have a folder.
- Press New. A new folder appears with the information you entered in the Doctor Search window.
